I know everyone bashes rough country but mine has been great for the 4.5 years and 30k miles it's been on my truck. Had no issues installing either, only complaint is the ****** rear shocks it came with but I switched them out with bilstein 5100's which I have at all 4 corners now and the ride is great!

BDS would be the best option you can look at. The step down from there would be Zone or Superlift. What you end up going with will partially depend on what you want to spend.
17's should work with the lift provided you have the correct wheel specs to clear the suspension components. You'll need to read the details of the lift kit that you purchase to see those requirements.
