Hey Guys,
I low balled this guy last month and he has come back to me wanting to sell it. It's local, so pickup is no problem. But what I see is a raw hood that has never been fitted. Anyone care to estimate what it might take to make usable? Anyone have experience in getting a hood like this prepared for paint? What is your opinion and what do you think is a fair price for this hood?

Thanks,

i would say about 400-500 to fit and paint. my venom was in terrible shape and the shop wanted 700 to make it work

$400 being a little on the low side would still make the hood on par with the cost of a SRT hood. Plus I'm not even sure I would like the look. But again a fitted/painted hood goes for $600-$800+ on the market.

From the pic, it looks sanded and primered unless it is just reall dusty or its been sitting outside. If its fiberglass and been sitting outside I would walk the other way, if its sanded and primed then its probably been fitted and was going to be taken to paint but ran out of funds. Normally they come with a gloss black gel coat though
