Ok so i have a 2004 dodge ram hemi sport. My brother plasti dipped his wheels on his charger. I kinda wanna try it on mine. So my question to you guys is, how you think my truck would look if i plasti dipped my wheels, emblems, gas cover, and grill insert. Possibly the hood scoop im not sure yet. Also correct me if im wrong but if i do all of this and decide i don't like it, it just peels right off?

I like black wheels. I had the mags on my old Ranger powdercoated black. They were great.

Just my oppinion but if you do the hood scoop its gonna end up looking like you got one from the local parts store and didnt bother to paint it

I think it looks great as it sits but why not! Do it and when you tire of it just strip it back off.

Why the hell not?! I think it would look sweet and it you don't like the look you simply peel it off. The other cool part is that it's low cost and you wouldn't be out much if it turns out to be a look you don't want.

I agree with ST... Leave the plastidip alone. Crap looks awful on any vehicle. Even your bros charger. ;) Red and black would look good, just only done right.

I have done plasti on my badges, tail lights and grill. the badges and tail lights i did black the grill i did in white. the white gets dirty very easy a little grease on your fingers and it will show and stay... forever until you peal it off. the black is great on the badges though. the tail lights seem to have faded. probably going to peal off soon.

also no to the hood scoop.

Not a great picture, but I'm more of a fan of powdercoat. This is after a year. I dont have any pictures of the truck clean, they are a nice gloss once the brake dust is cleaned off..

After a year and a half it still looked like factory work.

I think the silver lip and center cab finishes it off and makes for a more professional look. Great job. I'm doing mine soon. For the cash outlay and ease its a worthwhile mod for sure.
