2005 dodge ram. Already has somethings done but looking to make it stand out alittle more any suggeations? I have thought about plasit dipping the wheels and grill black, darker windkws maybe a leveling kit, some grill lights just not sure how things would look with the blue truck.

I would have all the chrome pieces paint matched blue to your truck. As far as lights go some nice one behind the grill would work. I have a pair of Hela Black Magic's mounted behind mine. And as soon as the RAIN GOES AWAY I will be installing 2 pairs of Rigid Led lights behind the grill also. Got everything to do the job, just refuse to get wet.

Thank you all for your input just not sure with the chrome wheels and side steps how well that would look not to mention how easy that would or would not be. I have thought about plasti dipping, even maybe the whole truck

I think that truck is pretty sharp looking as is. Maybe some more aggressive rubber and a set of black textured pocket flairs to mean it up a bit but other than that my vote is leave it be. Good looking truck.

I don't think you should put fender flares on, if you want a bold look I think you should keep the chrome, perhaps just the bumpers painted to match. get some chrome wheels keep the side steps chrome and the grill, and get wheels with a negative offset or put some spacers to let the wheels stick out a little from the fenders. as well as some really nice aggressive tires. and definite put the fogs behind the grill. and some fogs behind the fog light guards in the bumper.

I love the look of standard cabs, sharp looking truck man

I guess I'm an oddball, but I like chrome too...
However, I will say that you can also have TOO MUCH chrome on a truck.

I think a level with some aggressive tires would make it stand out, (that's what I want to do with mine when I get the money down the road) I also have a blue ram with chrome like you.

Good looking truck!

If it were mine, I'd rock guard the grille, steps, bumpers and rims as getting stuff painted to match isn't cheap. Black on blue would looks awesome. But if you have the cash to color match the grille and bumpers, I would say do that and rock guard the rims and steps or buy aftermarket black rims lol. Personally I'm not a huge chrome fan lol

Plastidipping the badges would look sweet too, and its very easy to do

Has anyone messed with duplicolor chrome? I just blacked out the tail lights and some have suggested I black out thr bumpers and grill using the dupli color chrome paint. Thoughts?
