Thinking about getting wheels, I'm running 35x12.5x17 bfg's and a 2.5" leveling kit. I have 1.5" spacers to make them fit, but I'd like a little more offset when I get wheels, I don't want to run spacers too long.. I'm thinking 2-2.5" would look mean.
What offset should I get? I have no clue where to start. I've "heard" that a -12 would work? Any input is appreciated

Subscribed. I'm in the process of getting the same size tires along with new wheels myself.

I run the 35X12 on 20's. The off-set of my wheels are 4.5 backspacing and -24 offset. The -12 offset would work fine, but I wanted to little more stance to my truck.

From personal experience 17x 9 Rim with -8 is perfect no rubbing with that tire or spacers with 2" leveling and 1 inch Body (as far as I remember for the little time I ran such a huge tire) and did not stick out too far with PowerWagon Flares.

Is the offset how far it increases the stance? Higher the number the more they stick out? I'm still trying to understand the offset and back spacing
