Why So Serious?

I'm not sure if I had this problem before since I recently bought the truck, but I put in some led bulbs for the dome and map lights and they work fine with my dash switch and when I unlock or open my doors, but not when I press on the light them selves. If the light is on and I press on them they will shut off however. Any ideas?
