Map/dome lights

Does anyone else have problems with the front dome lights they are always so dim even since my dad bought his trucks since 2012 to 2020 ram 1500,2500,3500 those lights are always so dim and recently I bought a 2014 2500 and it has the same problem my question is do I replace them or is there a faulty ground that I could fix it

I put Led,s in my last truck and they were pretty bright. Also put Led in the rear dome light.
