On my 05' Dodge Ram 1500 5.7
Man.... my alternator is not charging my battery. I was sitting in a parking lot before school, then the check guages light came on and the battery was showing very low voltage. My autoshop teacher and I thought It was the alternator. I have replaced the alternator today and I had no luck. So I replaced the battery, so now I have a brand new battery and alternator. STILL NOT CHARGING. The battery tested as good. The alternator tested as good on 3 different machines.
My question is what is the problem. Appearently the voltage regulator isnt kicking on or im not getting connection or something.
Is there a fuse that connects anywhere on the alternator that would be blown?? I checked the fuse box and couldnt find a thing.
PLEASE HELP, the truck is my daily driver and im screwed right now....
