Sick man. What kinda 1/4 mile numbers are you expecting? . I remember you had that 420 hemi back in the Hpt forum days.
Oh man is that sexy! I wish I could go that crazy on my truck
Nice....what you got for a trans behind that thing?
Gotta ask, How heavy was it to push that purchase button? How deep did the pocket have to get?
****, RFE's don't like anything much above stock lolDoing a 4l80 because the 545 didn’t like the last 420ci stroker. So finally doing it right

Thus far no one seems to be able to make one to handle the power increase and survive long term, even just for street use...mine isn't all that modified and I'm on my third in 150,000+ miles...Wait so for more horsepower you would need a different trans? You can't upgrade the stock to handle more power? So for example of you have a 410 stroker with 9psi of boost what trans would you use?
How much power will your engine put out? A ZF-8HP90 will take 664 lb-ft of input torque and, obviously, is an 8 speed. Good gas mileage and gear length, amIrite? And, you can also get one with paddle shifters as well as one that has a built in torsen transfer case for 4wd/awd.Thus far no one seems to be able to make one to handle the power increase and survive long term, even just for street use...mine isn't all that modified and I'm on my third in 150,000+ miles...

Pretty sure no one (outside the factory) has figured out how retrofit one. The ZF's have their computer built into the case, making it more difficult to integrate it into a preexisting platform. Hell, even makes it difficult to swap across platforms. Case in point: a Canadian dealership figured how to successfully swap a hellcat engine into a modern Ram. Downside? They couldn't swap the 90, and had to use the truck's existing 8HP70 and t-case. Couple good romps may be all it takes lol...How much power will your engine put out? That's what I'm shooting for with my build, anyway. Maybe find some place that can re-gear it and make it even stronger, too.

Rip it out and do a custom computer? Reprogram? Connection adapter? A mix of the above?Pretty sure no one (outside the factory) has figured out how retrofit one.
