Tried 3 different videos with my camera and they all sound awful, maybe too close and it was windy. Will try again Tommorrow. During test drive my temp hit 240 so I pulled over to check it out. It appeares I had the e-fan (switch) turned the wrong way and thought maybe the thermostat was acting up, I pumped the upper rad hose until I heard a good girgle then the e-fan came on.

So after a couple of runs changed out the oil and filter. No Codes and the Idle is nice.
The truck seems to rev up quicker and have smooth power right through. it will take me a couple of days to pass judjement but so far its real fine. have to pick-up the Wife from work in 20 minutes and will give her some pedal.

**** luck though, when I moved the Wifes Car out of the driveway it appears her Pwr steering pump failed big time as there is fluid everywhere, so we are down the Car till I can fix that, which means I have to use the Truck all week which ain't that bad.

Pics and maybe video to follow!!

Oh Yeah a definate improvement, Finally some seat of the pants acceleration. The Torque-converter seems to like its new Freind Too and it was 12 Celcius outside Temp (42 F). I am very pleased with the outcome and will be snoring tonight, Got a P300 Code when I started it up last but not too concerned as that code has been random for a few weeks now and is prolly not related, will investigate.

Next thread will throw up the Pics, as there where alot of parts replaced this time around and not just a simple Cam-in weekend. BTW I did not have any help at all just the wife with a goofy Video.

Hey Ryan its dark out again and been a long day at work, so ya lots of excuses! My phones sound mode sucks.

Got a slight Oil Pan wet leak, but not worried as I used a 1/4 inch ratchet and did a soft torque, as I need to look up the Torque Spec for that. Will tweak them bolts again (Gasket is new and i've been riding it hard on the Highway again today)!

Also got a P172 for 02 sensor after the Cat! The 03's only have one Cat so will wait to see if it remains then will maybe need one of those Bungs from Moes.

As for numbers I'm sure I might I'll be able to beat my old 6.59 Time (Dunno was when I could not spin the wheels and with 6.1 Cam shifting high) So I am gonna wait a few weeks and when my CAI arrives I'll prolly give it a go! I am curious Too Guys! and definately should try it before I do the gears in the next 3-4 weeks for comparison sake! But I do have wheel spin now since the Torque Converter install and have yet to Hammer the Truck from a dead stop with the new Cam as I do have the useless 3:55 One wheel wonder set-up and my tires are pretty expensive and new.

Will certainly want to do a Burnout when the Auburn goes in and the breakin is done.

Sean, You may be right on the Code, as I ask myself why would the sensor after the converter give a problem when the front one is smack in the middle of my flow-tech Y-pipe. Thanks....my statement was a PADOMA/////Pulled it directly out of My Ass!!! LOL

Teach....wait out !
