Hey guys,

I see a lot of folks running flowmaster and magnaflow exhaust systems, but what about dynomax? They are fairly inexpensive and the quality is pretty good from what I have seen. Just curious if anyone here have one on a hemi and what kind of power levels people are getting with them. Right now I have a cheap chambered muffler that just dumps at the axle and its junk.

Here is what I was looking at.

Thanks!

Running it on my truck pretty good bang for the buck.. I like ultra flow mufflers as they are straight thru

Thanks for the feedback! I think I am going with this one and put some nice tips on it.

I should mention my truck is a single 3 inch tail pipe ultra flow system. I personally like the single tailpipe. I don't feel anything is to gain with the dual

Ran a superturbo for a few years and then a 3" di/do internal x ultra flo ss. Love the quietness of those setups.

I will say with the setup I have now, I lost some of my low end and mid range torque. Not sure if its the way I have it set up, crappy muffler, or both. The drone has become worse over time. Plan is to get LT headers and the ORY in the future.

Thanks again!

I ran the 3" Dynomax Ultraflow Cat-back on my '97 Dakota.
Loved it, nice brushed SS tip too.

i love my ultra-flow round muffler on my ram... 2008 5.7L

did the single in/single out set-up to keep it looking stock and i love the sound a feel when i mash on the gas.. can't wait to continue to build up the power in the truck so i can really scream on the road

IMO, the 3g's do well with a straight through type muffler. The FlowMaster I originally put on mine lost power, recovered when I installed a 36" straight through Magnaflow. Moved the muffler rearward and have no drone.

Whats on the truck now?

cheap chambered muffler I picked up at swap meet. One of those cheap Flowmaster knockoffs. Sitting in the garage so I used it. :boxed:

I have heard that the straight through design works well with the hemi........

Would you consider it loud? Im looking at the 17267 (12" shell length 6" round)
Also did you keep your resonators or are you running just the muffler?
