E Fan mod

I know there is a thread on here somewhere but I can not find it for the life of me. Could someone point me towards the thread or is it possible to replace my jet engine sounding radiator clutch fan with an electric fan? TIA.

I'm looking to replace my engine cooling clutch fan, that link is talking about the ac fan, no?

I haven't installed an electric fan in place of a clutch operated fan on any vehicle, just replaced oe, that's why I'm confused.

No, apparently the V6 Ram (the older 3.7 I believe) used an efan vs clutch fan. The link talks about removing the clutch fan on a Hemi and replacing it with the efan from the V6.

For an older truck like yours, you'll probably need to go with an aftermarket, Taurus, or Mark 8 efan and controller.
