Im sorry I dont wanna read the whole thread but did you do the defouler trick yet? That code is thrown by the 02 sensors reading a bad ratio.

Ok so on my way to work the cel came on and I just read it and this is what it says

215994481_photobucket_40895_.jpg

Anybody know what it means?

I am not a SC guru. And you should be able to get a definitive answer here. https://www.superchips.com/#pn=compg&pid=21&psid=578 or ask on our SC section here on the forum.

But reading your tuner I would think it means the front (1/2) sensor has a high heater voltage, which means to me the heater circuit is open. If it had read 2/2 then it would have been the rear sensor. Check your electrical plugs and wires to make sure there isn't any damage. If you have the same 02 sensor in the front and rear , then swap them. I haven't used my SC tuner in almost a year so am not up to date. Does your SC manual clarify the tuners error messages? Sorry that's the best I can offer.

A wire might have been laid up against the header showing a fault.

Ill have to look at it in the morning cause the wires on the rear O2 sensor on the drivers side is really stretched so it can plug in so it may not be tight enough. I really don't think there is anything wrong with any of the sensors cause I had no cel before i did the headers.

You didnt happen to use any kind of silicone around that sensor did you? Like lubricant or something....

This is what makes the forum work, I stand corrected. It is the rear sensor heater circuit. I found some stuff on the internet.

Google “o2 sensor simulator´ There is all kinds of simulators available.
I listed a couple below.

For the geeks you can build your own O2 simulator.
http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/oxygen_sensor_simulator/

Mechanical simulator O2 Simulator

Another mechanical simulator Weld **** - Vibrant Oxygen Sensor Simulator Fitting with Adjustable Jets

SRT10 simulator Amazon.com: Chrysler Viper SRT-10 Oxygen O2 Sensor Simulator Eliminator Bypass Performance Chip: Automotive

I didn’t see one specifically for the Ram but there is one for the Neon. And any of these should work.

I had no idea this stuff was available..

Could have stretched it a little to much, mine had to be extended in order tp fit front and rear.

O2 simulators are quite popular in the Checy scene...

Also you put the fronts in the front and rears in the rear right? Stupid question but easily can happen

Ok guys I think I found the problem. I just went out and looked under the truck and the plug that was really stretched came unplugged. So I'm about to get the solder out and make the wires a little longer and I'm sure it will be fine then. Thanks for your help guys

When I moved mine around I was able to cut the wire holders and there was enough length to re-run the wire. If I was going to extend the wires I would do it on a bench using a soldering iron and heat shrink. Good luck. I learned a lot with your thread.

Ok since I have the one plug out i'm going to stuff some steel wool in between and if the code comes back on i'll do the other side.

That code came from the heater being disconnected, not the readings of the exhaust.
