Ram Prices in the North vs Texas

Morning all,
Later this summer I plan on buying a used Limited with a year or so of warranty left. Perhaps its coincidence, but the trucks here in Texas appear to be $4000-$5000 higher than many I see across the country. Especially in IL and FL. Is there something to that, or is it simply coincidence? Might the quality of a truck driven in the Rust Belt be affecting the price? Or are trucks simply more in demand in Texas? Thoughts? Recommendations?

It’s normal , supply and demand . Also what the local market will bear. Texans love their trucks ,so they can command a premium price.
