Track Day

Any Va boys feel like going to Virginia Motorsports Park this coming saturday 11-20-10? They are haveing 2 more races for an extended season and Im planning on going with a group to see what I will run.

Jason wish ya was closer to because I know all I will be racing is myself lol. 2 of my buddies are running 9.2 blowing the tires off and other is trying at 10.20 car out for the first time. 2 more might show up, a rebuilt diesel prob 13.1 and his buddy in a 2010 R/T Ram.

When the spring rolls around we will have to get together and hit the track. I don't mind driving to get there but right now I am swamped by life.

I'd like to go, but I don't think my truck will be track worthy until I finish the gears and the truetrac. After that, I definately wanna make a trip to the track with some of you guys!

I ended up running a slow ass 15.104 at 88.34 but was in full street trim so I recon it is what it is. After correcting the DA I ran a:
Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
15.034 @ 88.719 MPH
Motor was turning great and running good but it wont making it to the tries. Truck drove an hour to the track hauling the fourwheeler for my buddy and think the trans was just to hot. Highlights were the other 2 I went with turned a 9.2 in his car after bout flipping it and the other one running 10.2s his first try out. Another guy there had an 08 Superbee running 10.7s.

Jason it was the same... Im not sure weather the what was called slightly used 4.7 verter was crap or my trans is slipping but the 1 run it hit hard I was in 2 high and spun off the line. I fallowed up that run after bout 30mins of cool down in 4 high and didnt spin but power wont getting to the ground. Something is off I think but aint to worried its missing parts to keep pushing it till next year.

That car had ALOT of money in the motor. Whole new fordged block, all fordged internals, stroked and over bored, cammed, fully done BV heads, fully exhaust, Arrington intake manifold and a Paxton 1000 hanging off the side.

Jason I got it from DT for 100 bucks so who knows... I think all the 4lo dirt racing the past 2 years are catchin up to the truck.
