Sorry, missed the thread. I used a jump drive to copy my music, or you can import it from cd. It has to be .mp3 files to my knowledge.

Plug in your jump drive or put in your CD.
On the radio click "My Files"
Then you choose which method you are importing
If from a jump drive, you'll have to check which artist/album/song you want. Best bet is to put your songs on your jump drive onto the root jump drive and have a separate folder for each artist. Inside each artist have a folder for each album, then inside each album have your music files. That's the way I do mine at least.

you must have missed my threads on this subject.

ON the RBZ radio you can upload to 2048 songs at once from a USB drive.

I have over 4600 songs on mine. Just about 1 gb of space left

I would do mine in chucks while I was driving back and forth to work. No matter how hard you try, you can't get the album artwork to show...I was very disappointed about that.

RER, ill have to go look again in my 9 million page manual for that radio but it had a whole list of file types in it that it will play. isit bad when your truck electronics have 4 times the instructions as the truck itself does???
i found that out after i uploaded all my songs. the only bad part is trying to find a single song when it puts it in the wrong place. im going to redo my HHD because if you dont have everything in an artist file then it throws it where-ever it wants in the catalog.
for some reason i have 3 days grace songs under my 12 stones title. when i look at that file on my PC it shows it correctly but when it transfered to my jump drive it messed it up and since they were all under the same main file (downloaded songs s opposed to copied songs) it moved it.

ive also found a software app that claims to allow laptop interface to the HHD for music storage/file transfer which will be awesome if it works!

i found where i read that my stereo will play wma's....right on the face of the radio....LOL

So since it takes so long to transfer....can you at least listen to the satellite while songs are transferring to the HD?

You sure can. Satellite, radio, or other songs from the HDD. It transfers in the background.
