how to remove alpine system?

where is the amp located in these trucks.

are the 3 dash speakers 3.5"?

would just a basic loc work ok?

The amp is in the drivers side close to the kick panel going up towards the dash. Yes the dash speakers are 3.5 inches. For the loc what are you trying to do add a amp for subs or speakers?

the problem with the alpine is you need to leave the factory amp in place as its digitally (can bus) controlled from the head unit to the amp.

i had success in using a cheap LOC in my'11 durango i had that had the alpine. depends on what you want for sound a dsp may be a better solution.

what i wanna do is install a amp and get my foxbox back in.

plus replace the ****** alpine speakers with some jl and amp them too

depends on what kind of sound you want. if your a big audiophile the you would use a dsp where you can finely tune it. if our not then the basic adjustments of a loc and the amp would probably do.
