Inverter Question (issues)

The in-dash inverter is broken, it will not give off anything. The fuse is not blown and it clicks when something is plugged in but no power comes from it. What could my problem be?

I would check voltage at the input and output of the inverter - if both are showing proper voltage than sounds like a bad inverter.

Where exactly is the inverter in the truck? I know the plug is in the dash but where is the physical inverter?>

The inverter is attached to the bottom of the passenger side seat towards the front. The red wire with the light green stripe is your power wire black is negative. You should have 12v at the power wire that runs to the inverter.

Does anyone know if its possible to add a aftermarket inverter and tie it into the in-dash receptacle

If you're familiar with 12v - I don't see why not.
