led amber running lights

i have been throwing the idea around of putting some small amber led running lights on the front under the bumper on the air dam. i see recon has a kit,but i dont really want to spend $200 on it. plus ive heard people having some problems with recon lights. anyone?

I added 5 amber led lights to my air dam, lights were about $10 total on ebay. I connected the lights into the wiring behind the drivers headlight. A year and a half with no issues. I can add a night shot if you want to see how they look.

yeah if you can add the night shot that would be great! what lights were they? searching ebay for led lights is an endless sea lol

Here is the type I purchased. These are clear to match my cab clearance lights. Amber and smoked lenses are also available. They appear darker in the photo but do match the cab lights.
