Hey, I'm adding backup sensors to my 1500 and I need the wire color in the tail light to tap into. I believe it is white with light green stripe, but need confirmation. I've searched with no luck.

I tapped into the reverse bulb wire for my backup camera. I didn't know which wire to use. I tested it by putting the key into the on position,put the emergency brake on and truck into reverse. Than I tested the wires to see which one was hot. Hope this helps.

White with light green is the stop lamp.
White with tan or white with orange for reverse lights depending on which side you are tapping.
