Just as the title says, upgraded the factory radio from the Uconnect to the 4200, also used the Idatalink Maestro RR with the CEH harness, and the RAM USB to retain the factory parking sensors, backup camera, and the center console usb/aux. I did lose Sirius and the chime for the backup camera, but I didn't want to pay extra for those pieces as I don't use them. Everything was pretty much plug and play, flashing the Maestro was probably the most frustrating thing, as it didn't like my Windows 10 PC and google chrome web browser but there are work arounds. Overall the install took a couple of hours to get everything soldered and wired correctly. Everything works as expected. Subs and upgraded speakers soon to come.

I am looking to go this direction as well. Do you have a list of all the components you used and thier part numbers?

If you go to crutchfield.com and plug in your info you can see what harnesses and adapters you need to retain your factory options.

I pretty much listed it. It's 3 things from Idatalink and then like the other post said Crutchfield for the stuff you need to change speakers, adapters, etc.

Then I did the speaker swap today. Kickers 6x9 in the front, Polk Audio 6.5's in the back.

I'm getting ready to do door speakers in my 14 crew cab. I thought there was an issue with the front where you couldn't run 6x9 speakers in the front due to the window. Crutchfield shows 6x9 adapters with 6.5 or 5.25 front speakers.

It would make more sense to just swap 6x9s and leave out the adapters.

So what's he deal?

You can just not super deep 6x9s. Stay under 3.25 and you should be good.
