There is also a thread for Installing the Mopar kit yourself, you can usually get the dealer to add the XAC sales code for about an hour labor charge (@ $100).

Cptwing's Installing OEM Backup Camera thread, see post 10 for all the relevant thread links...

rearview mirror tends to be more expensive... parts cost on the mirror alone is almost $400 and you still need a camera for it.

You can take a look at the kits we offer here feel free to shoot me a PM or call one of our sales guys if you have any questions.

The factory camera kit is nice IMO because of the active (turning) grid lines which isn't possible with an aftermarket camera. Installed price usually isn't that bad compared to the parts alone plus a dealer flash, but prices vary from dealer to dealer.

Didn't know that there was an aftermarket setup that would pull in the Lin Bus CBC 3 signal. That could be a lot easier for some if it's plug n play.
Got a link?

Downloaded and read through the Aftermarket camera option for 2013+ and it uses i310 pin 19 (backup lamp trigger?) to activate the backup camera.

While it does have a grid lines feature, it is fixed/static and isn't "active", ie turning with the steering wheel like the OEM camera. Unless I missed something.

The instructions are out of date, working to get a copy of the new ones.
