Double din installed

Installed a double din without spending a couple hundred on the bezel. Cheap kit from Metra. Probably not the most attractive but it's not terrible. Thanks to Justin3703 for helping me with wiring harness etc... No speakers or anything fancy for now just wanted navigation for my next road trip in July! Probably gonna need some help to wire a rear camera cause I have no clue what tail light wire I need to connect to, so if anyone knows feel free to let me know. Thanks

Looks good. Is that the kit where you cut the bar out of the factory bezel and then snap that piece over it? If so that's the first time I've seen one of those installed. Looks good.

As far as the backup camera, connect the reverse wire on the radio to the reverse lead in your wiring harness you bought. Then out back just connect your power lead for the camera to the center pin of your 7 pin harness or to the 12v wire going to the reverse bulb. Then just ground the camera and run your video cable up to the back of your radio.

Yep that's the kit, I recently came across it. That's why I decided to finally do a double din.
I don't have a camera yet but planning on adding one, thanks again for your help install was a breeze.

looks awsome! Im going to order one today. Ever think about painting it to try to color match the silver color of the factory bezel? Id like to try something like that if I knew what color it was exactly.

I may or may not paint it, haven't had the time to even think about it right now. Will see what happens but good these are now available cause I really didn't want to spend hundreds more on a new bezel!

Orered mine yesterday. I actually have the navigation bezel already installed but theres pretty large gaps even with the double din face plate. Im probably going to use my old bezel with this face plate and sell my navigation bezel
