Installing double din in my 2002. Need help radio doesn't fit

Installing a double din in my 2002 but radio is to tall do I need to cut the plastic inside the dash for it to fit please help if anybody knows thank you

yes. you need to cut. Go slow and youll be fine. You may need to cut the dash too. I think there are dash kits available now though. When I had an 02 I had to cut the dash piece and fiberglass around it.

I have the dash kit already I cut the top off everything is smooth sailing now. I appreciate it

Should consider a plug and play replacement for 2002 Dodge Ram instead of double din radio.
