I give up, the only thing I know to do is get a new headunit, bypass the factory amp, and get a new amp for under my seat (mine is only a 1 channel and is powering the sub behind my seat) and then power the door speakers off the new amp.

Could it be the factory amp that's messed up?

Kristin, sounds like one channel is messed up on the radio...one last ditch to see, pull speaker back out again, and do another one, if it does it, then it's that channel of the factory amp or headunit.
If you dont want to buy an amp now, just replace HU

Ok ya I did it with multiple speakers, it's gotta be that then. I think I'm gonna do that, just replace the head unit and bypass the factory amp, appreciate it!

No problem, for what its worth I am running some good 3 ways off my factory HU, and it sounds good...so you may not need to spend a ton of money on a HU and an amp, if a HU alone will do it.

Did you wire up your sub when you put the speakers in or was the sub installed before hand?

The OEM Infinity amp feeds only certain low frequencies to the front doors and the door speakers are only designed to be fed those lower frequencies. If you have the stock infinity system and want after market speakers you need to get an after market head unit and an amp bypass kit so the speakers will run off the head unit or run new wires to the doors.

If you changed out the factory Infinity speakers with ones with a different ohm rating that will cause them to static out. I figured this out with my last truck and tried to run 2ohm Infinity Kappas with an aftermarket head unit that ran on a 4ohm rating. I ended up having to run a aftermarket amp to run the 2ohm Kappas.
