I'm not an audio guru so try not to crucify me for asking a potentially stupid question. For a budget build, would it be possible to use the existing underseat storage as a subwoofer enclosure without a fully molded box by just adding a lid? I already have an infinity 10" 4ohm svc sub with an alpine mrp-m500 amp that I've had kicking around for a while. I'm wondering if I were to cut a piece of 3/4mdf to make a lid, then attached it directly to the underseat storage bin with some weatherstrip between the MDF and the carpet if that would be possible or just sound like absolute dog ****. I'm just looking to round out the sound for a while, I'll likely do the JL stealthbox at some point in the future once I can afford it. 20231117_175957.jpg

Securing it and getting it to sound good will be a real issue. It needs the box to work properly. You can propbably find a used OEM enclosure for under $100, that's what I did.

Full crew, yes to the fold flat floor, I don't remember seeing a power outlet anywhere other than the 12v dc outlet between the rear vents in the center console.
Sorry, I meant that for GTYankee

Thanks, I didn't realize the fold flat floor worked in a QC.
