Radio show black when in Accessory position???

Anybody know why the display on my 2003 1500 does not light up when key is in Accessory. It works just can not see what channel it is on. Has the 7 speaker infinity setup in it with cd/cassette?

I have this issue on mine sometimes. If I push the key in it lights back up again, sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't. Probably the ignition switch. I kinda like it because if I have the doors open with the radio on I pull on the key and the door chime quits lol.
