I did some searching but could not find my specific issue(s). I have a '07 1500, 5.7, Quad cab.
The Security Light blinks continuously when truck is running. I am able to start the truck, no issues with it shutting itself off.
The remote entry is intermittent. It will not always unlock, or lock, driver's side doors, and will not lock/unlock passenger side doors at all. Lights blink and horn honks as they are supposed to. Only one remote works. The other does not, but has a good battery in it.
Not sure if these are related.
I bought the truck used from a dealer. I thought I had checked the remotes, maybe not.
What I have done:
Disconnected the battery, both posts, for about 30 minutes.
Pulled the IOD fuse for about a minute and reinstalled.
Disabled, then enabled, the auto lock features. (The "Open one door they all unlock" feature does not work.)
Any fixes or ideas?
