Default wire identification help
I am changing the front door speakers in my truck ('08 1500) and need to know which wires are + and -

both the wires are green, one has a blue strip and the other is a yellow strip.
nothing else in the old speakers indicates which is which.
thx

Keep in mind that you can buy plug in speaker harnesses for around 12 dollars for all 4 that will keep you from having to cut/splice the factory wiring. They also help prevent corrosion on the cut/spliced area of the wire over years in the environment of the inside of a door panel.

Here goes the link to the ones I ordered. They're awesome.

Becareful when you start clipping wires by the head unit. The colors were faded near the plug, I had to pull back some of the tape to see the colors.
