$800 bucks. Should be a recall to add this to all of the trucks with 44-44.

Yet another reason I prefer part-time transfercases over AWD. I once owned a 2002 GC Limited with AWD. The T-case coupler failed @ 65K miles. Big $$ to fix. I opted for a much simpler fix and swaped the AWD T-Case for an NP241 part time. I did have to buy a new front drive shaft.

I've witnessed more than 1 Ford AWD failure that also takes out the entire transmission. Like I said, I will only have part time 4wd or I will not buy the truck. Hey Chrysler - Are you listening !!!
