I have a 2011 1500. Thinking of changing the battery( it's 5 yrs old). Does anybody know if this truck would have a lock out feature if the battery is disconnected?? Heard some vehicles have this and power must be supplied at all times or it locks the computer and Chrysler is needed to unlock it?????

whiskey tango foxtrot ? so if your battery dies you need a dealer to service your truck? i don't think so.where did you hear this?
