Have had a check engine light come on a few times with a p2706 and p0700. The p2706 is a silinoid code. While driving at highway speeds let out of throttle and it down shifts hard, throws the dtc and goes into limp mode. This has only happen 3 times in 2 weeks. How do I determine what silinoid is the bad one?

Sounds like the solenoid pak is failing. Can be changed without dropping the trans.

Interesting. I've only had mine go into limp mode like that once. Never got any codes or dash lights either. Once I stopped and was able to turn off the ignition and restart, everything was fine. Hasn't happened again since that one time.
