Hey all :favorites13:

I've searched and searched to no avail. Thread after thread, forum after forum... I don't have my truck with me otherwise I'd go out and measure myself...

Does anybody know the stock length of the "collar" that the wheel slides over? Front and rear length :) I am trying to figure out how to bolt up some wheels that don't have a deep enough hub location. I want to say it's around 3", 3.5". I attached a basic picture of what I'm looking for. It's not my specific setup but the red line indicates the piece I need a measurement for off a 2007 2500 5.7 front and rear.

Somebody that has their truck up in the garage or doing a build with the wheels off? Thanks to anyone that offers a hand or know.

If the terms I used are incorrect I apologize. The pic shows the exact location I need to know the length of :) length including the axle seal cover or what not.

This is the wheel I am trying to figure out a solution on mounting...
The wheel does not have the allowed space to slide over the rear hub. The diameter is fine, the depth is not. The depth is 1" on the wheel, and with a 2" adapter spacer it would give me 3 inches to slide over the hub. I don't know but I know I don't want to buy new wheels :) I'm just trying to make this work if possible

Maybe just machine the rim to fit your hub?

It's drilled 1" deep right now... I could only have it drilled maybe another inch at most before it would blowout the other side. Which I wouldn't mind doing however the lugs sit buried in the wheel and finding a cap to fit would be another hassle.

To properly machine the rim it would probably require a machine shop with a Vertical Turret Lath (VTL). I think it might look cool to clean up your hubs and paint them and just let them be seen.

Definitely would look pretty cool however I question the integrity of the wheel once you blow the center out. It would only leave perhaps a half inch of meat between the lug hole and the hub spot. I have no idea what I'm going to do here. Maybe sell the wheels and just buy a new set. Sighh first world problems lol
