Fuel tank help!!!

The fuel tank in my 97 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 4x4 split and I can't seem to find a tank anywhere can anyone help me or tell me a website or a store that would sell a new tank I tried advance auto and Autozone and they don't even have any and have no way to order a new one so if someone could help me that would be great thanks

Used is the only way you can go. You MIGHT try Rockauto.com and see what they have.

you will most likely need to find someone parting out a vehicle. most auto recyclers punch holes in the tank.

where is the split. the tanks are made of plastic so you could try patching it with a soldering iron.

When I was looking for a larger tank for my 1997 if found this place. They aren't cheap but you can get a bigger tank that fits in the original location which is always nice and doesn't require moving your spare.
