Got another flag for that bed. Will be picking up a POW flag too, detail cleaned my frame/spings/coils/T-Case/driveshafts with a power washer and painted so its CLEAN!!I could even see a "City" hiring the truck for different events (Memorial day/Veterans day) ect.

I don't know anything about this subject. I could only offer my opinion, and that is that I don't think most places would be interested in this truck. And it isn't necessarily because of the cosmetic work you have done, but more because it is an older model truck. It isn't considered a classic, but it isn't new enough to be new. Once passed that, the ones that might be interested, I don't know what their goal is for what they want to advertise for. Something like this is going to appeal to a pretty specific group of people, so it could make it harder to find a place to hire you on. But, if you do find anybody, it would be interesting to know how that works. I was called on my craigslist ad for my 88 camaro a few months back asking if I wanted to be in some national geographic show about women in prison. they were going to do a re enactment scene for the show, and it was based on some woman who committed her crimes in the early 90's, and they wanted a period correct car. They were going to film for 2 days and were going to pay me like $500 to just let them take pictures of it for a few hours. I never pursued it because I was too busy with work at the time.

Maybe you could look into the Dukes of Hazard mud bog edition.

I know I would be first in line to buy tickets to see that truck.

Thanks for the input (I think....rotten tooth dude...really???) many places that put out a "blow-up" Gorilla or Dinosaur like most car sales events I think would Def display this truck....for the "look here" effect. Also several City events :chili cook off,Veterans day,Memorial day....any place doing a Grand Opening.....ect.

I don't know if city events, like a chili cook off (I don't know if that is even a huge thing anymore, at least here in Phoenix or places I have lived like virginia or california), would pay you to have this draw attention to their event. Used car dealer lots would probably be the only car dealerships that want this out front simply because the new ones generally want to push the latest models, and not used inventory. Often times, you see them put the top of the line trim package vehicles out at the street, and sometimes lifted newer model trucks/suvs, or tricked out newer modeled cars.

I won't go any further into listing reasons why I don't think it will be successful, because I am not trying to discourage you. It would be interesting to see if you could actually make any good money from doing this. Personally, you would have to pay me at least $500 to be a part of an event using my truck, unless I supported it. I don't know if you are a veteran or not, but one thing to keep in mind is if people found out that you were charging somebody to use your vehicle as an attention grabber, instead of just donating the time/truck, they might not be very appreciative of that. One thing you could do is not charge in an event like that, and try and network as best as you can while you are there, and see if you can line up any future business. Maybe a veteran there has a used car dealership, or a furniture store, or some type of store that usually has some type of attention grabbing icon out front of their property.

Places like auto parts stores or dealerships would probably want to have a truck that was done right.
Your stacked spacers on top of the front springs is not the right way.
The giant lift blocks under the springs in the rear is not the right way.
The front drive-shaft spacer you were asking about instead of a correct lenght drive-shaft is not the right way.
The rust holes under the doors are nice too.
I think you will be hard pressed to find someone that would be willing to pay you to use that truck.
Good luck to you.
