I have a 99, 5.9 litre. 80,000 k on motor

My truck is hesitating a surging in the first 5 minutes of driving. Poor gas mileage. Occasionally small backfires in the motor area. Almost popping sound

Seems to be outside temperature sensitive.

We have replaced ..

Catalytic Converter
updated the computer software
temperature sensor for the computer
cleaned the throttle body 2 x
new plugs, wire, rotor
New idle contol unit
new thottle position sensor
no vacuum leaks

Any suggestions?

There Is no spark knock or Oil consumption. It goes good when she has warmed up. It's when it's cold it doesn't want to go. Starts gurgling, you can hear air, running rich. Hesitating. Acts like a poor air gas mixture.

CKPS is where I would start, Mopar part only. If you hear gurgling from the dash you have a air pocket in the cooling system and it needs to be burped to remove it.

Gurgling in the dash is air pocket in your cooling system. Burp that ****.

Plenum gasket can cause all of those symptoms.
