This 318 ... I dont have owners manual , but going to change the oil .. I think its 5 quarts ? But not sure ... also with 159k ... switch to synthetic ?
What is the correct weight in oil I should use for this manual 5 speed 318

Sorry ,, never owned a 318 V8 before .

As long as you dont have any leaks...go for it....up to you, if it were mine, I would use Castrol GTX High Mileage...its a synthetic blend.

As long as you dont have any leaks...go for it....up to you, if it were mine, I would use Castrol GTX High Mileage...its a synthetic blend.

Dave...you should get that modded kegger thats for sale in the classifieds...then throw a 50mm throttle body on that son of a hoe.

With his being a 01 it shouldn't have the plate in the keggar that needs to be removed so that would be pointless but yes on the TB

I am pretty sure that they still used the same set up on the 318 from 93-01...I could be wrong, but I am almost certain of it. Modding those intake runners makes a difference in upper RPM performance.

They aren't up to like 97 or 98. Then they revised the intake designed and removed it. My 01 doesn't have it when I did my plenum kit.
