Well I've got a good one too throw into the mix of things.
Ive Been looking for bw 44-44 because that's what my Manuel says to use on our 2020 ram 3500 hohd. So after doing all my online research I found the part number ( 68089195aa) for the mopar , bw44-44 so I type that in and find advertisers showing pictures of 5 different oils with that same item #. One for
44-44, another for 40-44, another for 40-40, another for 40-45 40-46 40-47 & pre 2016 40-44, so which one am I supposed to use, wtfo? So im like screw it ill call the dealership because there price can't really be any worse then the online prices of $50-$68 per quart. The parts guy says ok let me look up your vin, then he says that you have a 44-46 tc so you'll use the
44-44 & 44-45 oil ( which I've not seen advertised yet) which we have on hand. I said wait a minute because my owners Manuel says to use 44-44 but your telling me I've got a 44-46 tc that's calling for 44-44 & 44-45 oil only and he says not to confuse the 44-46 tc with the needing the same fluid type, and i ask how does he explain my owners Manuel calling for 44-44 which he doesn't have any answer for. Plus he won't give me the part number for this mystery 44-44 & 44-45 only oil, damn stealerships . I'm even more lost know then when i started off, I wanted to use a mopar only fluid on this first service while it's still under warranty and then ill probably switch to all ravenol at the 60k mark once it's out of warranty.
