Im thinging about getting a new programmer for my 01 but what is best? there are a few different options

SCTs are the best, but the most expensive.

I have a 01 5.9 magnum also and I like my superchips programmer, if you had a cummins I would say there is better options but this one gets the job done considering our trucks are limited in what the programmer can actually do.

Yeah that's what I got i like it i think it cost about $260 my mpg went from about 10 to 13 thats in mileage save drains a little power out that way but if you feel up in 93 i get 14.3 mpg and if you put it in performance you have to have 93 in and you can tell a big difference with it also! and the towing works great i pulled a honda passport suv on 20 foot trailer and it didnt grunt before if i pulled my boat i could feel it p.s. wont do it again without trailer brakes haha it also adjust your speedometer for your tire size you can set your idle rpm and max rpm and change your max speed.

with the tuner and everything else i have would it be worth it to put a 52mm throttle body on or would that be to big?

52 might hurt lowend if you only have a SuperChips.

Would skip the 52mm TB, better off with a 50mm TB, fully ported. Then again it will be useless without supporting mods!

My vote goes to SCT, best mod I ever did my truck.
