I have a 1999 Ram 1500 4x4 crew cab.

The issue is that I keep blowing my 10A backup lamps fuse. It blows immediately regardless of whether or not the circuit lamps are activated (meaning it's between the interior fuse block and the switch).

The problem is, is that without removing the entire dash from the vehicle, I cannot identify the wire coming from the fuse block.

As a result, I can't identify the proper wire to investigate for the short.
I have confirmed that there is no short on backup lamp wire until the vehicle is in Reverse, telling me that the short is between the fuse block and the reverse switch.

Any chance anyone has a wiring diagram for this circuit?

I was able to find my issue. Turns out that the park/neutral switch is on the tranny, not the column.

Once I found it, I confirmed that at least 2 of the 3 wires to the switch are shorted out right at the connector itself.

I split them up and my problem is gone. I'll order a new connector online and replace the original.
