I use Amsoil severe gear 75W-90 synthetic gear oil in my front & rear differentials on my 98 Ram. It has limited slip additives so no supplements are neccesary, and I have been using it since my truck was new with no problems. It provides extended drain intervals, but I still change mine every 20,000 miles. The owners manual recommended 75W-90 for the front diff and 75W-140 mopar limited slip for the rear, but I checked with Amsoil and they said that the severe gear 75W-90 would be a suitable replacement.
