My truck in my sig. Bought it basically stock. I've put about $6k in upgrades on it.

I LOVE the truck to death...turns heads, great power, just an all around awesome truck.

But here lately I dunno why but I've been thinking about selling her and going to a 2nd gen Cummins. Getting out of my truck payment.

I can afford the payment...just really dont want it anymore.

I dunno why this thought keeps crossing my mind... but I've actually been looking at 2nd Gens lol

You have a built tranny, and a airdog remember that. That is major money if you get into a 2nd gen.

your crazy. lol. I love my 2nd gen my the interior is pretty rough compared to the 3rd and 4th gen interiors.

I hear you man I am the same way. Love the truck not so in love with not having it paid off. So I get the same itch. If you can afford it keep going and just pay it off. I know that is what I should do but have to push myself.

Yea the payments suck. I guess I'm kicking my self because my 03 (the one I traded in on this one) would be paid off by now...was looking forward to no truck payment. lol Now I got 4.5 years of truck payments again

I say SELL it!

Get out of the CR engine come home to the VP44 much cheap and easier to mod! At least you have a good engine will better MPG's and fuel system part are MUCH lower in price. CR injectors ar $2,500 to $3,000 for a set of 6 I can buy injectors for a 24V for $300-$400 bucks.

The older trucks always did better on MPG's too. I'm totally happy with 23 MPG and 13 MPG towing... Something a CR engine can't do...
