I used fishing line and eraser wheel....and i think they muddy up the look too....and forget polishing/waxing the paint right by the letters....and um....."Lowriders"? Hmmmm....funny.

I found that using a splitting maul, gently wedged between the door and the emblem works swell.
Just remember, give it a couple of close low speed swings before the overhead chop. Don't want to nick the paint!
