If I accelerate to 30-40mph and let off the gas the truck jerks hard while shifting. What could be causing this? It happens every time. And only between 30-40mph.

change your filter. sounds like a possible clog. Or a valve body issue

The fuel filter? Is that possible at only 10,000 miles? Well end up taking it in and fixing under warranty, but would like to know what to ask them to look at first.

Okay. I guess valve body is what should be suggested to be checked out then. And I had no clue the filter had to be changed that often. Thanks! Any other maintenance things I should know?

not the fuel filter, the tranny filter, which is inside the transmission pan.
Sorry for the confusion.
Oh, and the fuel filter should be changed on a regular basis (I change mine every other oil change for good measure, and also because the fuel I buy around town is usually crappy)

Already?! That's nuts. I agree though, valve body or maybe a shift solenoid? Definitely take advantage of that warranty though bud!

shift solenoid is a good possibility. If it was a 12v or a 24v second gen I would say it "could" be the TPS. So you have three things to look at- Trans filter, Valve body (right above the trans filter looking from underneath, the filter actually connects into it) or the shift solenoid. Im not sure where the sol is at on yours though. Heck, it could even be a band adjustment problem, but Ive never heard of band adjustment causing hard shifts, only slippage issues.

Dealer warranty time!!! Have them drop the dime to fix it lol. Heck, destroy the tranny and get a new trans for free lol.
