I have a 79 Stepside that was a project of mine about 8 years ago that I never finished and probably never will so I am looking to sell it. It has a 318 automatic 4x4. It hasn't run in years though. Wondering what it would be worth-ballpark as I will be posting an add on Craigslist locally and wanted to get a basic idea of what it's value would be.

Thanks and let me know any questions you have about it to get a better idea of what I have.

Dave

a non running truck typically peaks out at about 2K.

Certainly looks like a lot of body work has been done, which can add value to the right buyer. I really wouldn't expect to see much above 4-5k as it sits.

Finish up the paint, make it run and you could get more, but even then...
Old trucks are just hard to sell.

I guess if I could get anywhere near $3000, I would be quite happy. Thanks for the input.
