I decided that since no one makes quick disconnects for the front sway bar why not try to make my own.
These are still in the test phase so only do this if you want to accept the risk of wasting money.
First I bought some rcx 6" lift sway bar links. They seemed like the a good design for a quick disconnect.
Next I went on a search for some 12mm clevis pins. Non existent unless you special order online. I didn't care enough to do that.
Next I got some cobalt 2.4mm drill bits. I went through about 5 of them..they crack easily.
Last item on the shopping list was 4 3/4" trailer hitch pins
I assembled the sway bar links. I got as close as possible to the mounts and put a single hole through each bolt.
My finished Not so quick-quick disconnects looks like this.
We will see how they go. All of this cost about $60.
