Hello everyone,

This is my first post on here so stick with me! I just bought a 2007 dodge ram 1500 4.7L and I am wanting to do some work on it. Customize it and make it my own. In your opinions what would be some good beginning upgrades? Is there an air intake system that would be suggested?

I also want to Maximize the amount of light I have on my vehichle as well. What would be a good LED conversion kit that would be best? I am also interested in replacing the fog lights to LED's as well any ideas?

Thanks for taking the time and reading this and I look forward to getting a response

There are a TON of threads on here about switching out to LED lights. You can use the search tool on here and bring up more than you want to know. Other than that, I can't tell you much more because I'm still learning myself. I've read so much about LED lights, that I'm confused now. Congrats on the purchase!!

Here's a link to a post of someone just installing a LED bar on his ram, I'm looking at doing the same kind in the exact same spot. http://www.ramforum.com/f48/led_light_bar_where_no_one_has_done_1_before-59994/

Other good started upgrades: Tint, radio upgrade, exhaust, CAI, HIDs, plastidip things you want to see what they would look like in another color and if you don't like you can remove.

Edit: inner wheel well linears if you don't have, will help prevent the lovely rust issues our 3rd gens have.

In my opinion, some good beginner upgrades would be tinting the windows (if not already), exhaust system, leveling kit, cold air intake, etc. Be prepared for a FUN addiction. Once you start, you won't stop. I bought a 2004 dodge ram last year and have dropped over a grand into. Newest project is a front end conversion. 04 into an 08. Good luck!:favorites13:
