So being that I am probably the biggest Dodge fan possible. I have been looking for a project. I found a 1948 Dodge 1 ton in my Grandpa's storage shed. It is up to his brother and he thinks I can have it!!! Only problem may be his brother is in a nursing home so not sure if he will say yes.

Look at these pics they suck but I intend to get more and then take them throughout the restore.

wow that looks nice! looks like the paint isnt at all back. have you decided to go with original parts? if you do end up getting it.

I am told it has a flathead V6 and as much it would be fun to through a huge engine in. A restore would be cool and I am told it runs. I would like to update to a 12volt system if possible.

Okay now I found another one from a friend of my grandpa's it is a 54 I think and is in drivable condition. I am working on a deal to get that one too. So many good finds in rural North Dakota haha

You should pull the flathead and restore it for nostalgia and drop a supercharged hemi in the un restored body. That would be a bad ass sleeper.

My dad has a couple 41 Plymouth's, couple 60 Dodges, a 57 Dodge Swept side, and some others too.Just need to find some time to get them done.
