Daves 2nd Gen Headlight / Tails / 3rd build thread

Didn't want to clutter up Dave's post on figuring out how much chrome to keep, so here's the thread for Dave's build.

Started with this....

Tails / 3rd were dropped off last night with the painter. Today, I cracked the heads and started playing with them........as in stuffing a Gatling Gun 2.0 shroud in these *******.

Now, I get to take it all apart and ship the parts to the painter. I will have more pics next weekend after they are back and assembled!!

oh yeah! and it REALLY didn't need that much trimming to fit in there either. spiffy!

luke, I think if the back bowl was black, I would leave the rest chrome. kinda neat that way

nope. Just took a little time, but it wasn't nearly as crazy as the ones for my truck. LOL

Heads are getting there! Just need to put the lenses on them.

Ended up repainting all of their "black" and blacked out the back of the bowl. Left the shrouds all chrome to match the turn signal bowls, and tie in with the chrome on Dave's truck.

Those do indeed look awesome! If I even get another Gen II, I'm certainly fond of these lights.
