That seems awfully cheap for having a new crate engine and all the rest. I'd be a little cautious as to what else is wrong at that price.

2003 no thx. 2004.5 didn't have the injector issues of those early motors and 06+ got a better 6spd tranny

Can somebody fill me in here, I read on a 2nd gen FB page that K&N filters have a lot of flow but let a lot of debris through the filter while others have less flow but filter better. Anyone back that up?

Just oil it and I'm sure it'll be fine. Ran one on my Dakota oiled and never had a problem.

Oiled cotton filters flow better, paper filters filter better. Not a big deal at all though.
